E--1 to 5 inches; very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) very channery silt loam; very fine granular structure; very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; common very fine, fine, and medium roots; 5 percent gravel, 30 percent channers, and 10 percent flaggs; extremely acid (pH 4.0); clear wavy boundary.
Bhs--5 to 12 inches; reddish brown (2.5YR 2.5/1) very channery silt loam; very fine granular structure; very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; common very fine, fine, and medium roots; smeary; 5 percent gravel, 30 percent channers, and 15 percent flaggs; extremely acid (pH 4.5); clear wavy boundary.
