| Accuracy assessment: 51 polygons interpreted as SS on aerial photographs were field checked. 36 remained SS. 2 were revised to K2, 1 each was revised to AMT, DW21, DW2-5A, H3, K23, K34, LB26, LB4, LSP, RB, SC, SSL and upland. | |
This is a common mononomial unit, especially along toeslopes of stream valley walls and adjacent to higher elevation peatlands. It also occurs in complex, most commonly with the Lutz spruce (Picea X lutzii) dominated map component (SL).
