Two polygons have been mapped as LB56. One lies at the edge of a smaller lakebed complex between Beaver Creek Road and the Spur Highway in the City of Kenai. It consists of a Lutz spruce forest with a bluejoint understory at the edge of several businesses. The bluejoint component probably invaded post- human disturbance. The second lies at the edge of a short bluff above Kachemak Bay, near the mouth of Fritz Creek. It also consists of a lutz spruce forest with a bluejoint understory, but seems to lack human-caused disturbance.
